What is PDR (Paintless Dent Removal)?

Paintless dent removal is a highly skilled process where minor dings, dents and creases are removed from vehicle body panels using custom made, specially designed hand tools. The damaged area is accessed from behind and literally massaged back to its original shape. If the paint is intact and the metal not too badly stretched, a Dent Worx technician will remove those annoying, unsightly dents, returning your vehicle to its former glory.

What kind of dents can you repair with PDR?

The most common causes of minor dents and creases repairable by our PDR service are:

• Other people opening their car door against yours
• Trolley dents at supermarkets
• Impacts from golf balls, footballs etc
• Bicycle handlebar
• Very minor impacts

*Note we cannot repair larger more severe collision damage. This type of damage requires a traditional bodyshop repair.

What are the advantages of PDR over a traditional bodyshop repair?

Cost wise PDR will save you £££’s over a fill and paint repair. Because the original paint finish is retained there is no chance of a colour mismatch. No paint, no filler, no fuss. We come to you, so you don’t have to be without your vehicle for long.

How long will it take?

Usually anywhere from 20 mins for a small dent, up to an hour or two for larger more complicated dents and creases.
